2012 Spring Summer A Beautiful Infection
Hong Kong based fashion label PLOTZ presents the latest 2012 Spring/Summer collection. After a journey to the mars, the designer brings us back to reality in which a beautiful scene under our skin is about to unfold.

Never can we be immune to viruses in our lifespan. Invading our bodies, during the process so called the infection, viruses deviates into different patterns and details, so special and enchanting.

A bold statement by the young Hong Kong designer, PLOTZ 2012 Spring/Summer collection is a tribute to craftsmanship. Highly volumetric twists and folding techniques are applied on pleats and tiny ruffles to give rise to a pop up contour, the carefully planned details interestingly reveal how viruses emerge, transform and disperse inside our bodies. The collection gracefully demonstrates the beauty of the undesirable infection we rarely appreciate.

Such infection is visualised by bringing the enlarged patterns onto the surface. It no longer is just an enchanting spell within us, but a web embracing our body. A twist or a cut-through appear in the most unexpected spot, as unpredictable and fickle as the bizarre strife taking place inside of us.

Yet another attempt to reinterpret the idea of modern delicacy, presenting a series of clothes which is, not only revealing a graceful feminine silhouette, but at the same time it brings us a new vision which will be otherwise neglected. A real sensitivity to life, the triumph of life.
